  1. Hello.

I'm just buying a Olympus 5060 Widezoom camera with dedicated Olympus PT-020 Underwater Housnig. I already own a Sea&Sea YS 90 Duo Strobe with cable (for Sea&Sea housing).

it's possible that i use this flash with the Olypus camera. If it is possible, how to do?

    tnx for your answers.

  2. The YS-90 Duo strobe has no way to cancel a digital camera's pre flash. If you can set the camera's flash to manual and the camera's flash only does a single pop, then it should sync up fine. You can test this by setting the camera's flash to manual and pointing the Sea and Sea strobe at the camera's lens and take a picture. If the Sea and Sea strobe fires and you have a picture of the strobe going off (should look totally blown out white), then you are good to go and the strobe and camera's internal flash are properly synced. If you see a picture of the Sea and Sea strobe, but the picutre does not show the flash tube lit, then it is not synced. I would test this myself but unfortunately do not have access to a C5060 and I do not rember off hand if it can do manual flash without pre-flash. Many other cameras that I have worked with will do a single pop in manual flash mode, so I'm hoping this one will as well.

    Good luck with your test!

  3. If the YS-90 Duo has a ttl hardwired cable, you should be able to get an athena cable from Ryan's Reef Photo. Just click on the link to the right.
