I could not find much by the Search function, so if this has been hashed over before, I apologize.
Does anyone have strong feelings about either brand, TLC or ULCS? I know the owners of each company started out together and went their separate ways with their ideas. The owner of ULCS lives up the street from me! I already own some pieces of ULCS from my P&S strobe arm, but I'm going to sell those as part of a package. I've become familiar with this set up and don't want to sacrifice the quality of what I had.
One has an O-ring on the ball ends and the other is Teflon coated. The clamps for each is slightly different, but not a deal braker. The newer floatation arms from ULCS might bend me that direction. I might consider the other flotation arms that have been discused under a popular topic here. Does TLC have the extra joint at the strobe for aiming?
