After cutting up a standard Magic Filter for my Tokina Fisheye lens (DLSR), I found I had an extra piece to fit on my housed Fuji F30 compact camera.
I was wondering, how would the Magic Filter do when filming video with it on?? You can't set manual white balance when shooting video, but would it still help - kind of like a red filter on a video camera?
The best Magic Filter for that would be the Auto Magic as it does not require the WB to be set manually. See this film here shot with a Panasonic FX-01 (in funky looking wide screen mode).
The original Magic is designed to work with the manual WB of the camera and generally will not give good results unless you can set the WB. A few compacts offer this in video mode, but AFAIK most don't.

nope, my camera doesn't allow MWB setting in movie mode...
