Guess I should have mentioned what software so here is a brief list, there really is too much to list
Final Cut Studio which contains Final Cut Pro, Motion, Livetype, Soundtrack Pro, Compressor and DVD Studio Pro
Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects 7, and a thousand different plug in and third party bundles from Magic Bullet, CHV Electronics, Boris Continuum, NucleoPro from Red Giant, wondertouch particle illusion, Digital Anarchy, Instant HD, DV Film Maker, Sonic Fire 4, Vector Key 2.0 Chroma Keyer, Digital Film Tools 55mm, DV Blast for Motion, Dissolve Factory, Sorenson Squeeze Suite 4.5, CGM, Eureka, Sapphire, G Plug ins, Knolls Light Factory and far too many more to recall.
I have never once had a crash with this computer. It will come with 3.5 gigs of ram as well. That's more than most will ever need.

excuse my Mac ignorance...
Is this a laptop or desktop?
Desktop Mike. And its all that I say it is. No exaggeration.

Go on Mike, make the step to the dark side!!!! We know you want to.......
OK, OK.......I'll go away!
mark.
It's a pre Intel Mac but it is absolutely load. Mine is only a 1.8 dual G5 and I have no intention of selling it.
One should also be aware that all that software is essentially unlicenced as the original installers will be in the possession of the seller (unless he is including them in the sale). Leaving it on the computer does not give you a licence and hence you are not eligible for upgrades (and possibly updates). Also remember that Adobe CS3 should it be installed will require AE7 to be reactivated. If the original has been already activated on another computer, this may lead to problems.
Drew,
AE7 is part of the package tho I do not have CS3 as yet. The reason I can include all this software and 3rd party plug ins is because the companies all give me pretty much anything I want. The last person who bought my computer, also fully loaded, still stays in contact and is very happy. She figured that if she bought a brand new Mac for 2800.00, then had to add an upgraded graphics card, alot more ram and then the cost of a quarter of the software that I was offering, she's be spending her year's house mortgage. She paid me 4k for that system and is waaaaay ahead. She has not had any difficulties with upgrades, the computer, or anything else. I figure that as long as I am completely honest, I can't and the purchaser can't ever lose.

Does this mean you are including the discs and proper transfers of the licenses? If you are just selling the computer with the software preinstalled it violates at least one EULA:
Apple's EULA allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on one Apple-labeled desktop comuter and one Apple-labeled laptop computer so long as both computers are owned and used by you.

More just to let you know as a heads up and you may want to reconsider a bit since Apple and others have cracked down in the past on eBay about these things. Though it may not have adversely affected any buyer yet, it could. And more importantly could hurt you at some point, especially since you are not sneaking around like the eBayer scam types. Figured I would mention this just in case, have seen your articles, posts etc and you are one of the good guys out there ![]()
Thanks Real Drew....Apple is the one business where they don't give me a thing. I buy it like anyone else. All the Apple Software, discs, manuals, etc will come with the computer. Absolutely. I haven't been on eBay in years, too many friends have been ripped off and I just won't use them. Afraid of PayPal as well. Just don't trust those things.
I appreciate the good words, it saddens me truely that because there have been so many rip offs that people have gotten, maybe by necessity, so mistrusting. The great thing about wetpixel is that even tho we may all have not met in person, we have become over the years a fairly close knit community. You help friends, not cheat them.
