L&M Titan D200 Housing

  1. Hey Everyone,

My first post here on wetpixel but have been a long time reader and student of the information on this site. I am anxioustly awaiting the arrival of my Titan D200 housing which arrives this Thursday! Although I have been waiting nearly a year for its arrival, I am told by folks at L&M that it will be worth the wait.

The shop that I instruct at is a L&M dealer hence my waiting for this housing and not going with (although extremely tempted by) Subal & Aquatica. I haven't seen much posted here yet regarding this new housing but was wondering if anyone has been able to try it out yet?

I am heading to Bonaire in June for the Digital Shoot and want to get in the water as much as possible with the housing before then in order to get some practice so any tips would be appreciated. I have shot for a couple of years now starting with the C5050 and then the C8080 both in Ikelite housings. I purchased and learned the DSLR with the D70 but quickly upgraded to the D200 but have yet to shoot the DSLR underwater. I will be heading to Galapagos in Oct. so want to get all the "kinks" worked out by then. I have the Nikon 12-24 and 60mm already lined up and ready to go with dual Ikelite DS-125's.

    Thanks everyone,

    Tony

  3. GDay,

UPS finally delivered my LMI Titan D200 housing. Wow, can't wait to get it wet. The controls seem to be placed in all the right positions, and with the adjustable handles, the controls are all within easy reach.

Be two weeks before it gets wet tho.....bugger
