Swimming with a ... dolphin !!

... one of the most emotional moment in my life ...

I'm just back from Safaga (Egypt). I took these pictures at Tobia Island.

We did a first a dive in the morning and went to that place for the lunch break ...

The captain told me " in one hour may be dolphins here !!" with his funny accent and a familly of three dolphins came around ... a bit less than a hour later !!

I took my mask and camera and went back to the water quickly ... First I was alone and spent 10 minutes playing with the dolphin. There were a male, a female and her baby ... The female kept staying away but the male was really in a "let's play" mood. A few minutes after 4 people from another boat joined me...

That moment was simply amazing ...

Great experience

We had the same experience in Sha'ab Mahmoud last summer, Our guide told us that exactly at sunset time a group of dolphins will come, Exactly when the sun touched the water a group of -+ 30 arrived.

We spent with them for 15-20 minutes, as you said its one of the best times I ever had.

Shame I don't have photos, it’s was too dark and with the internal flesh only almost nothing can be seen.
