gravid = carrying eggs

I don't think that fish is carrying eggs. Or if it is, it is having an abnormal pregnancy (that one is even harder, what is the correct term for that). It is way too fat. I suspect an internal infection or parasite.

Its looked also exaggerated to me but that was the explanations I got.
