MAHA Powerex 2000mAH for ys90dx?

I know the pros and cons of using NiMH and don't want to get into those issues. Just wanted to know from those using NiHM if this 2000mAH would be good for the ys-90dx strobes.

I used 1800 MAHA's in mine and they worked great.

I'm using 1800s in mine too and its superb.

The 2000s work great for me! I highly recommend them.

Umm, I just heard this weekend about a local photog who switched to 2000 milliamp Nimh batteries with YS-90 strobes and fried the electronics.

I didn't believe this was possible, as the voltage s/b the same, just a higher capacity.

Is this possible?

I use the MAHA 1800 and Ansmann 2000 batteries in my YS120s. Never had a problem....
