Sony A1 (HDV) + housing+monitor+ extra's

  1. Hi all,

I am now seriously thinking of selling my little friends. :(

Sony A1 HDV pro-sumer camcorder. 1 year old (still in sony 2 year silver warranty)

Amphibico Dive buddy EVO housing with access to exposure and W/B etc + custom carry case.. 1Year old

A great 'light weight' HDV system for the travelling diver and a fantastic cam if your thinking of entering the 'real' world of HDV filming.

This little soldier has faithfully led me into the broadcasting world and won me an international award for its efforts. So no messing around here then... :P DVD evidence can be supplied for serious offers.

To buy new (u.k prices) the system would cost around £3900 but i'm looking for around the £3200 mark.

Also for sale is my L&M matrix monitor that has been custom built to go with the EVO housing..New £900 from me £550

For the buyer there will be some thrown in extra's: Sony wide and telephoto lenses, batteries, pro carry case..etc...More when I remember what I've got. Oh yeah !!! blue and green water URPRO filters.

Or give me some serious offers..No time wasters, good home only for my baby.

I'm willing to consider travelling to meet UK buyers and give advice if needed. There you go, free lessons as well :)

  8. Dean, so how much are we talking about in the English language, you know, dollars and cents? I always thought that a pound is a unit of weight. Sure wish the English would speak English. ;-)

By the way, is this a PAL or NTSC cam system and would you consider selling the housing and cam separately?

  9. Steve,

To be honest I'd have thought you could get it all just as cheap if not cheaper new in the US..Obviously with all the extra's it would add up, but there you go... Living in the U.K is not cheap...

Its a PAL system as well...

    (I'll never make a salesman..)
