Digital with RAW capability & Underwater Housing?

4 posts
  1. Can anyone recommend a digital camera that can shoot in RAW format and also have a hardcase underwater housing? I'm looking for one in the point and shoot category because all of the SLR's with hardcase are REALLY expensive!

I have not found a website where I could search on these featues/options and find cameras that meet this criteria.

    Thanks bunches!

  2. Olympus SP350 point-n-shoot camera can be used in RAW mode.

  3. I can recommend the Fuji E900. I've been using it for quite a time in an Ikelite housing and got some very nice results. It can be used in point and shoot mode and completely manual. The only draw off is slow write performance of RAW files.

    Regards

  4. I checked out the Olympus SP350 and the Fuji E900. Both have RAW capability and reasonably priced underwater housings! I see that some newer cameras have image stabilization built in and I'm wondering if that would make for better images underwater. Comments? Does anyone know of any cameras that have image stabilization, RAW and also have a reasonably priced underwater housing available? Thanks!
