Great Barrier Reef

Hi all,

I just got back from a trip to Australia, and made a 3 days stop at the GBR. Not the best time of the year, as the visibility was very bad (off Cairns). Here are some of the good ones:

Did you try out the Olympus P&S?

Very nice. Hey there's tougher looking lizard fish right off your shore. I suggest you go visit a few! BTW, Hanauma Bay shore dive was excellent. However, if you decide to do it either go with a rebreather or a scooter. Getting back through the reef is a tough chore even with just a P&S.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Yes, I really like that last one too, and I have the entire series (about 20 shots) of the cleaner approaching, getting in and coming out...

All shots are good but like the others I would also say that the last one is my favourite.
