Nexus Domes....

Hi All,

I currently use a nexus FP-170 and im sure it's the port and not me causing horrible corners! Admittedly my DS-125's are incredibly weak at ISO 100, so im not using the highest f-stop.

I am thinking of getting a different dome for use primarily with my 10.5mm, does anyone have experience of the other options...

small glass dome specifically for the 10.5mm?

fp-230?

athena glass dome?

for the 10,5 but i have not tried it yet. i m going to the red sea next week and can give you an report after that.

Couple of guys I know are using the small dome with the 10.5mm with very good results. No personal experience thou. Regarding soft edges with the FP170 dome - a diopter will help alot, even if the lens doesn't require one to focus on the virtual image. I'm using +4 & 40mm ext ring with 170 dome for the 12-24mm with good results. Sharp edges.
