Best, Carol
Thanks Carol, it was a lot of fun spending time with the octopus...so much "personality"!
Cheers,
Tony
Yes Tony I agree, that octo = personality plus!!
So what do you think? He got his treat but then you got your fun podcast........., so I think you both made out on that encounter? ![]()
Yes, thanks again. I love your multi-media, it is absolutely wonderful photography woven into a fun story and I'd love to see more. It is a real gift to make people smile!
All the best, Carol
So that's chapter 2 of the Children's book! Such a cool sequence.
Tony, have you ever tried shooting video? Your knowledge and field experience with these subjects and your knack for getting great behaviour could yield some stunning sequences. Or maybe you should just be a director - telling the camera man what to shoot - while you are shooting stills.
Alex
Another great story, liked it a lot.
Another great podcast! love it!

Thanks everyone, glad you're enjoying the slideshows.
Alex - I've done some video work for TV. It's definitely fun, but it's almost an entirely different skill set, especially the post production! It was great having a big budget TV crew to do all the clean up, organising, processing, production...
Have being doing a bit here and there, and will probably do more, but for now, I'm starting to really like this half-way territory between stills and videos. It's not that easy to take a sequence of stills that tell a story, do all the photo post processing, write the story, etc., and it's awfully time-consuming. But it is fun, and I keep learning more about audio recording, video processing, back-end web page coding, etc., so it's educational too.
And besides, there are so many talented video people on this forum already!!!
I can't get the link to work. When I click on it, I get a "Q" film that is broken. How can I fix that?

Hi Allison,
Just tested, it's working fine on all my browsers. It's a Quicktime file. You need to give the file time to download. The screen should show a big "Q" for a while, until the file is downloaded. Then you'll be able to view it.
On the offchance it's your browser (IE), maybe try another browser (Firefox), or in the worst case, download the iPod version (which is a bigger file than the web version) via the link under the video.
Cheers,
Tony
