My wife wanted to get started with underwater video so I purchased this outfit. It seems to be a decent starter kit for a reasonable price. I'd appreciate any tips, suggestions etc you might have. I probably overpaid a little but we're heading out soon and it was a last minute deal. Anyway, thanks,

Well you got allot of goodies for $500US and welcome to the underwater video world.

The only thing is it's Hi8.

It goes Hi8 then DV then HDV.

You also may have abit of problem getting it into your computer as it does not have firewire.

If you just want to film and watch it on your TV, then it will be fine.
