Well known site, the nice thing about it is that you sometime can find there data that was online and from some reason was deleted after a wile.
one of their large petabyte systems (I think they have 3 or so) is located in our system room. Interesting people. They call that the WayBack Machine.

I had to go look up Petabyte - that is a hell of a lot of data !
Since we are sponsoring the wayback machine we asked them to make some kind of visual addition to their racks so visiting suits have something to drool at. So above the Internet Archive racks is a large cinema display rotating a random historical webpage every few seconds. It's hilarious.

If the statistics I've seen on the percentage of websites that are porn sites is correct, this would indeed be an interesting display. ![]()
We run a bit of a different company
Like, our rules stated all over the data center has 11 rules instead of our parent companies usual 10. The 11th says 'no sex on the floor before 2pm'. We have see-through floor tiles all over, which makes you think you're falling into the raised floor
We have little robots driving all through the room, just-for-fun. Our waiting room has an xbox with games, a satellite tv, and dvd player hooked up to a large cinema display. We have customers that come to our data center just to hang out!
So a few porn pages showing on the archive display is just icing on the cake. (actually..i dont think ive ever seen one..they must be weeding them out).
