ikelite sync cords

If I have an ikelite DS50 and plan on getting a ds-125, can I use both together ? do I have to buy one of those dual sync cords from ikelite...is that it ??

Yes, you will need the blue banded cord to do TTL.

Check your housing manual for the correct setting of the switch under the camera tray.

Alternatively, you can use one of those TTL slave /or manual sensors
