Travel agency for Sulawesi trip

6 posts
  1. Hi All-

We did a successful Bali trip on our own last year but think an agent might be the way to go this year. We're thinking two weeks in North Sulawesi - one week of muck - one week of reef. Anybody used a travel agency for the area?

    Thanks!

  2. Susan Pantle handled our last trip to Indonesia and did a fantastic job. She's a diver, has been to most places you would want to go, and is very well connected. Highly recommended.

    I'll look into it. Thanks!

I suppose I should also contact Reef & Rainforest since they are advertisers here.

  4. When I go, Deb at City Seahorse arranges things for me. She uses Jeremy at Safari Tours and Travel as her local agent in Manado. Sometimes it is good to have a local agent just in case something happens.

Looks like they know their stuff. Thanks for the link. Does anyone know about a direct flight from Tokyo to Manado? I thought I read somewhere about one. Wishful thinking maybe?

  6. I have used Scuba Travel Ventures several times lately. I used them for a Borneo trip and, most recently for Raja Ampat and Lembeh. They made wonderful plans that were flawlessly executed. I will use no one else!!
