Please help with Sea&Sea ports

3 posts
  1. My friend will get soon his Sea&Sea housing for The Nikon D80.

At the moment he is interested in purchasing ports for his Nikon 60mm macro,

and for his old kit lens (18-70mm, should it be dome or flat port+zoom gear BTW?). I find the

Sea&Sea site and documentation very unclear. Can any one post the product

numbers of the correct Sea &Sea ports, so he can make his order?

    Thank's,

    Dany Weinberg

I use 56261 with 56201. I make an educated guess it will work for you. Someone please correct me but I only have 105mm macro lenses, but it will also work with full-frame film as well as Nikon D200

    Hey John !

have you changed your email addy lately, i've mailed you a couple of times but got no response, maybe you just ignorning emails from a northerner !

Hope the D200 & Sea & Sea is treating you well.

with relation to the question raised above, here's what i use and its works just fine

18-70 is used behind the compact dome port with a 40 extension ring and 18-70 zoom gear. & a +4

60mm is run using a compact macro port base along with the small compact macro port.

If i run the 105mm i simply add the 40 extension ring to this and its as simple as that.

i also use the 12-24 with the dome and extension above

the 10.5mm us run in this dome without extension.

    Simple

    regards
