Sea&Sea Optical viewfinder 0.8x

  1. Hi guys i just tested the new optical viewfinder 0.8x by Sea&Sea. Very easy to change the standard viewfinder inside the housing and to replace it with the 0.8x, no tools needed.

For macro is very good, sure not like big viewfinders with better maghification like Seacam or Subal but is very usefull and help me to focus expecially for macro.

I just posted a review on my web site. Sorry, for the moment only in italian.

    Bye!

  2. Cool, but not being fluent in Italian, can you tell me if it is available to be shipped with the 0.8 or only as an add on to be purchased separately?

Also, I think it is Inon that makes a larger viewfinder that can be retro-fitted to a Sea & Sea if you need more power.

    Hello,

here in italy is selled like an opional part so the housing come with the standard viewfinder (0.6x).

Yes i knows about Inon viewfinder, is a totally different product. For sure it give better results but you need to modify your housing and is expencive. Differently this optional part maked by Sea&Sea (works only with last Sea&Sea housings) is not expencive at all, no retrofitting needed, and you can change between standard and 0.8x fron inside the rear housing only using one hand. I will try to use an INON viewfinder next weeks, i'm very interested...

    Many thanks

    Bye
