WOW - What a week

Well the last 3 days have been booming here in Cairns, Tuesday we had mantas and today a Minke whale as well as some old favorites, here are some pics from Tuesday and Today. All taken with Sigma 10-20mm, the minke and manta while snorkelling.

Looks great Gary.

We were over there a few days ago, looks like we left just as the weather was coming good again. We got lots of rain and it was so cold.

You just missed the good weather Wagsy, we have had sunshine all week. Yesterday was the best day we have had here for a while, no wind, the water was like a mirror and we had over 25m viz with the sun shinning. Reminds you why you dive when it's like that.

O well.... we will be moving over there in about a couple months time so we will have plenty opportunities to catch the good weather.

Do you shoot day pics on one of the day boats?

Yes Wagsy all my pics are from the day boats. Would love to get out on alive aboard now I have a decent camera and know how to use it, there's some nice stuff up the coast . But I have an IDC to run next week and am going back to do the odd training job.

Peter mentioned you might be moving over, let us know when you get over here , I'll shoot you too a drink or two.
