60 minute GIG

While we were away 60 minutes were in town to shoot a story on the Floppy Whale Sharks.

Missed out on the Gig but looks like they want to buy footage from us now for the story..

Going to 16.9 (HDV) has turned out to be very good for us.

Congrats, but make sure to tell them it is HD and not HDV just in case

Any idea when it is going to be shown?

Well I know they shot stuff on a DV and a little HC3 setup and they did not get very good days.

Have no details yet when it will be aired.

The poor editor is going to have a hard time cutting our stuff in with it. They may have to add a wobble filter and dirty it up abit so it does not stand out so much

I have EDIUS opened up in a HDV timeline with HDV footage.

Then I changed the project settings to DV and hit the space bar on the keyboard.

As it plays the HDV timeline it's firewiring out to the camera as DV 16.9.

Can you other guys do that

Are busy with a new online local news e-paper (nope nothing about diving ).
