D100 Dual Cord

  1. Hi Folks,

I have a new Aquatica D100 and am very happy with it.

I can't seem to get it to fire using the dual cord, however.

    I think this is a D100 issue.

What am I forgettint to turn on or off to get this to finction??

    Best,

    TR

  2. Hi TR,

    Hmm...doubleblue....that sounds familiar...:-)

What strobes are you using? Are you using a manual sync cord or a 5 pin sync cord?

    Cheers

    James

  3. Hi There,

Hmmmm?--could be any number of the items-OK first check the Flash mode custom setting in the D100 is to MANUAL,then establish the Flash Sync Mode is set on Front curtain sync ( only manual U/W remember with D100+flash).Set shutter speed for 180 or below.

As for the leads themselves-well open pin firing/continuity checking the contacts/etc will validate their correctness to work as per.

If all this fails-heaven forbid--you could have a polarity problem in the trigger voltage (+- need to be reversed in the leads-ugh- cut and switch!).

    Good Luck,

    Lyin :P
