Rental Needed STAT! - FX1 or Z1U

I have a video friend who is headed to Galapagos imminently and Murphy's Law has kicked in for her. Her FX1 completely crapped out and she needs a rental in a hurry. She's based on a liveaboard but will be returning to the states to leave for Ecuador.

 

Can anyone advise on renting an FX1 or Z1U for her?

There's dozens of places that rent FX1's. I think the bigger problem you'll have is finding someone who'll rent it and then ship it to meet her. Especially since it sounds like she may not have a permanent home address.

 

We have an AV distributor here in town that I rented some gear from once. But they required a drivers license, two major credit cards, a local address and pickup in person. And at the time, I worked for the university.
