Hi,
I want to buy a new torch for my model, to use on wide angle- model shots. The halogens are too much expensive and I really wonder if any other torch would give such strong and wide angled light???
Would anybody recommend something???

As an alternative suggestion. A small slave strobe can work well. Something like an old Sea & Sea YS 30? It also has the benefit that it can be used for other photographic effects such as backlighting.

How about a UK HID Light Cannon?
