Just putting out an idea about an underwater photo contest to see what people think. I know a lot of underwater photographers would love to see their best photos published in a coffee table style book.
If their was a contest where you can only enter say a maxim of five of your best photos at $5 to $10 a photo, The images are then judged by Underwater photographers or wetpixle members and the best say 160 to 200 are published in a coffee style book with the overall winner on the front of the book. Subjects could be wide angle, macro, over under, divers etc.
The cost of the entry goes towards printing the book and then the book could be sold for an amount. Once costs are coved any profit could go back into wetpixle or for more contests or other projects.
