Below should be some pictures I took in the Red Sea in May
Constructive criticism welcomed!
Napoleon Wrasse
1/100 at f4.5
ISO50
Clownfish and Anenome (taken at night)
1/80 at f4.5
ISO200
Lionfish
1/100 at f5.6
Big Gorgonian Sea Fan
1/80 at f4
ISO50
They are all taken on an Olympus Sp-350 in an Olympus housing with a Heinrichs Weikamp TTL bulkhead conected to a YS110. I also used a YS90 with a Weikamp optical adaptor as a second strobe.
They have all been "corrected" in Photoshop!
Any and all feedback welcomed!
All the best
Adam
You certainly do better with that camera than I do...haha. I love the Napoleon, very well done.
Nemo pic looks like it could be white balanced a little bit.
I would also tweak the Gorgonian Pic and work on the blue; however, with that said I have a ton of these where the blues are somewhat less than brilliant.
Hi Gary,
Thanks for the feedback.
I've re-balanced and re-cropped the clownfish, and tweaked the blue.
When I uploaded them onto photobucket, it has automatically replaced the originals (which is quite cool I think!)
Let me know if you think they look better please.
Many thanks
Adam
Hi Adam.
Nice set of photos. I think the napoleon is great with the perfect lighting. I would use the healing brush thing i PS to remove some of the sand corns in the clownfish picture, but thats just me. Some may think it is going a bit too far ?
Kenneth
hi adam
love the napoleon loads of atmos on that
i'm no expert but i think i would crop so the corners are out on the clown fish photo
especially the right bottom and top left , i feel it would add alot more mood to the pic
