More Subtronic Pain!

  1. Steve W tells me he no longer handles Subtronic in the UK. I need a spare synchro lead. Its Nikonos to Nikonos fitting and I am now using ones I got with a UK-Germany housing so it's not an unusual item.

Who has spare synchro leads in stock?

Have you got them for Seacam flashguns, Paul?

Otherwise I am happy to buy from anywhere in the world.

Come on now. Who's got one in stock?

  2. Hi John,

You could always get one direct from Germany. One of my strobes is on holiday there at the moment!

I bought one recently from Reef Photo Video (there is a link on the site sponsors on the right, above the yellow Sea & Sea one) while I was in Florida for the Wetpixel shark trip.

I'd be happy to lend you one of mine to cover you in the short term - as long as you can get it back to me before I head off again (on the 21st). I don't mind diving in the UK without a spare.

    Alex

Provided you need a standard 5 pin Nikonos to 5 pin Nikonos type cable I have some in stock!

  4. Thanks Alex, Paul and Wetpixel!

(e-mail on its way to you Paul.)

I don't want to borrow because these leads seem to be the most fragile part of the system and I have been through quite a few over the years! (Probably they get damaged in that crucial moment between the dive ladder and the freshwater rinse when not in my care) But thanks anyway.
