Dive the Calif. Channel Islands on a 3-day trip

  1. All photographers, new, intermediate, advanced, join Optiquatics on a 3-day trip

to the Channel Islands aboard the Peace. Limited load, never more than 18 divers and sometimes less.

Need a digital camera to try? Want to try out an Inon strobe? Joe has all that and more available for use as part of the price.

Maybe you have always wanted to try out a drysuit. Joe has those also with underwear and a drysuit workshop for only $100 more.

I go on these trips frequently and even though I have all my own camera gear and drysuit, I enjoy the limited number of divers. There is room for your cameras, laptops, etc. A very relaxing trip, you’re not rushing to get in x number of dives because you are on a single day trip. A chance to dive a site more than once is the norm.

The crew of the boat is unsurpassed, helping you with everything from putting your tank down on the swim step for those with back problems to putting on your fins for you. They all know how to handle your fragile camera equipment. There are 4 fresh water tanks for cameras. Nitrox is also available.

Food is prepared by a chef who used to work at a number of restaurants in the Ventura area. Simply outstanding. For those who are vegetarian or have special food needs, they are handled easily.

All this for $700, drop an e-mail to info@optiquatics.com

  2. Plus you get to dive w/ Joe and Terry which is a treat. I got to dive w/ them in Fiji back in 2004 and had a blast.

Wish I could make this trip, but I need to give my boss more notice than this...
