  1. Helllo all

im using the ikelite housing for the coolpix p5000 .

what im finding is that im already getting some minor scratches on the housing view screen , i can imagine in time that the screen wil become harder and harder to see clearly .

can anyone suggest a screen protector that will attach to the housing , remain fixed underwater and not damage the ikelite acrilic ?

i was thinking of using a PDA screen protector but im not shure if it will stay on underwater.

    any suggestions welcome

  2. You can try this product

I don't have an experience with it u/w but it’s protecting very well and it’s taped very well to the camera.

  3. You may also consider buffing out the scratches on the housing. I use Novus polishing compound in various grades (trick I learned from NG's David Doubilet) to buff out port scratches. I have found it in motorcycle shops for polish paint and visors, sport and airplane part shops to remove visor scratches.
