Squid run in San Diego?

I remember that I used to be on an e-mail list for squid run announcements in San Diego. Does anyone know an operator who does these things? I would love to get out there to photograph it.

Dunno of an operator right off hand.

However, my friend Steve Constable (remember him?) owns a zodiac and he can launch from Scripps Pier in La Jolla. Might be worth talking to him or the folks at Scripps (Birch Aquarium) about.

If you decide to shoot the squid run this year, please please call me! ;-)

But we need big lights and stufff. Oh, and, it would help to get a phone call when it happens so we can buy a last-minute ticket down there.
