Banded Coral Shrimp (and a challenge)

  1. These shrimp have been one of my banes from my first dive with a camera. They just seem to be tough to get completely in focus - the antenna have spoiled many an otherwise fine image.

Last week in Bimini I nailed these two... In focus, together and posed very nicely.

    Ok, now for the challenge:

There is something wrong with the image as it is seen here. Can you tell what it is - let me know if you can.... I'll give the answer when I get back from diving tomorrow evening.

  2. For those who haven't figure it out, this image is rotated through 180 degrees. The give away is the sand from the ocean floor on the wrong side of the image.

While there is nothing 'wrong' with rotating the image this way, if you rotate the image and look at it with the shrimp on the roof of the ledge, you'll find that it is nowhere near as compelling an image.

  3. You stumped me.
