I just got my DS125 and ran into a little "problem" the first time I took the battery pack off of the stobe.
In the instructions, it says slide the locking lever out, flip it out and then rotate the lever counter-clockwise 90degrees.
Problem - my lever kept on going past 90degrees - probably about 135degrees!!
It seems to seal well, but I'm afraid to put it in water in case it needs to be returned.
Is there a problem if it rotates past 90degrees? Is it safe to dive with? Should I return it? Help!!!
Call Ikelite and ask to talk to the strobe tech about it. If its a problem, they'll know and will have you send it in. I recently received a ds125 and an extra battery pack. The battery pack that came on the strobe works fine. But, the spare wouldn't latch down on the strobe. I had to send it back.

Just spoke to Ikelite and they agreed - send it back to them!! So it's off in the mail today. The strobe tech says they've never had that problem before, so they'll just send me a new one!!
