Indonesian octopus ID

  1. I saw this guy under a pier in Raja Ampat on a night dive. It is approx 6-8 inches long and moved along the bottom as shown in the pic. Our guide said it was a wonderpus, but it doesn't resemble any I've seen in either shape or coloration. Any ideas?

  2. Looks like a O. Aegina. That's the only one I know with a stripe in the center of the body that's in Indo. Definitely not a wunderpus.
