Has anyone flown LAN Ecuador before? I'm flying them in October for a Galapagos dive trip with Aggressor. The LAN website states that only 1 carry-on bag with 8 kg limit is permitted. Does anyone know whether this is strictly enforced?
I will NEVER check my photo equipment; serious $$ invested. I have also never checked my dSLR housing, dome ports, or regulators. I'm too afraid of damage or theft. But if this carry-on limit is enforced, I'm in trouble.
I'd appreciate hearing any experiences with LAN Ecuador airlines.
