Sea & Sea O ring's

  1. Greetings,

Have a question maybe someone can help. I have a DX 200 and still shoot a NX 100 Pro. The housing O rings seem to be the same. No one knows (or wants to stick their neck out ) if they would be interchangeable as the port O ring.

Anyone know the answer or good guess.

    Thanks

    Jay

  2. I wouldn't interchange the main housing o-ring, but I'm sure the port o-rings are interchangeable, as the port system is still the same. Sea&Sea o-rings are blue, correct? If both are the same color/width I wouldn't mind interchanging them. If you are still hesitant, change the o-rings and dive with the empty housing (on freshwater) just to check.

    Luiz,

Good thought. The S&S O rings are the blue silicon impregnated ones. The port O rings are the same but the catalogue number for the D series main O ring are different that the NX ones.

Sea & Sea will most likely quit supporting the NX 100 Pro so just looking for some options down the road now that Fuji is reintroducing Velvia (still better than digital IMHO  )

    Ciao
