From last week at the Flower Garden Banks. This shot actually has a funny story - I had my housing set up w/ tripod to make an underwater pano. This manta starts buzzing Sarah and I so I take off w/ the housing, tripod, and the whole shooting match. I bet the manta was laughing at this funny looking contraption!
Shot w/ the 17mm Tokina and 2 Ike DS200's

The first one is a killer one. Awesome. The second one didn´t say to much for me...
Very nice. The exposure on the first one is perfect. The second one would probably be better as a straight silhouette without the strobe fill.
How did the pano work out?
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the feedback. I too like the first shot. But do you think the crop is too tight? I can't decide.
Larry - I should probably start a separate thread about the Panos.

The first one is great, since you asked I think a little less crop was better but still a great image.
Here's another pic from the same series. The manta just stopped and fluttered in place. It was interesting because this spot didn't look like a cleaning station.

All fantastic James, but I have to say that I like the final one best.
Very nice; the water color is very nice, maybe even more blue space would work.
Thanks guys - I appreciate the comments.
I like the water color too. Gotta love the combination of Canon + filtered water.
