Palau. Wich West plaza?

Maybe next august we can go to Palau...i know it's not best time for the weather but for us it's the only time we can.

Wich of the 5 West plaza do you recomend us? we would like to stay in walking distance to downtown.

How long are you staying for? I regret not spending a few days down at the far south island of the local group, Peleliu. There is some kind of room & board & diving, offered down there I think.

It depends on who you are diving with?

I dive with Neco so I stay at the Malakal. It is within walking distance from all the good bars and also Sams tours if you are diving with them.

On the down side it doesn't offer any view (except the Shell fuel oil storage tanks) but it is convenient to 2 great bars and 2 great restaurants. When I need to go into town for a pizza or an Indian I simply get a taxi for about $5. If you want something a bit more in town then 'By the sea' is within walking distance of the banks/restaurants and shopping although a pickup would probably still be required if you are diving with 'Fish n Fins'.

My wife and I were on a liveaboard, the Big Blue Explorer. It was great! 5 dives a day that were within a 10 minute boat ride.
