Professional underwater photographer, photography instructor and expedition leader Mauricio Handler will be conducting his annual 2008 workshop on the beautiful Island resort of Sipadan Water Village on the Island of Mabul in Borneo. The week long workshop will include lectures and practical sessions on natural, strobe and mixed lighting photography, wide angle, splits (half over -under), macro and extreme macro as well as equipment maintenance and field repair. There will be a strong emphasis on composition, color and personal vision. By weeks end, you will be catapulted to a new level in image making.
You will be competing with yourself and your own personal photographic goals.

$2305 includes round trip transfers from Tawau (mainland Borneo), junior cottage in Sipadan Water Village, all meals, hotel tax, 3 boat dives daily, plus shore diving and all photography instruction by Mauricio.
Aside from being a professional photographer, Mauricio is a National Geographic underwater photography Assistant who has worked for many years with David Doubilet and Brian Skerry from and for NGM. Mauricio bring many techniques from the field simply not available elsewhere.
