G7: Macro as default in AV TV or M

Anyone know if this is possible?

Seems that I always have to press the left buttons when the camera switches off itself aft 2mins idle.

You can use the C1 or C2 settings to preset a Macro mode of your choice and a WA mode of your choice for changing on the "fly".

In MENU settings set Power Off to OFF, and the LCD power saving choice to whatever you want (30 seconds, one minute, etc.

Then the LCD will go into power saving mode, but the camera can always be "woke up" with a tap on the shutter release.

C1 and C2 modes to pre-set for types of shooting is great, too.
