I like both very much particularly the second one. I know it may not have been possible but the first would have had a lot more power with a dark background.

the first one does not really benefit from the high format.
so i prefer the second ... even though it would get more impact by shooting the goby a little more from the front.

I almost missed the second gobie in the first image. He's hidding on the other side of the fan. Would have been fun to try and find a way to get them both in the shot.
