Mixing DV 4.3 with HDV

  1. Like many of you out there we have a huge amount of DV 4.3 that we want to cut up with HDV to make 16.9 DVD's for some future projects to sell to the public while normal DVD players are still around.

     

    Here is an example of mixing both formats on a 16.9 timeline using EDIUS on a old 3 GIG PC which still gave us real time performance.

     

    48 megs

    DVD MPEG2 720/576 @ CBR 8mbps.

     

    Its from dirty vis dives but still came out okay.
