Just got a G-Tech G-RAID Mini today. It's a 2.5" dual drive, RAID 0 box that's bus powered via FW800, FW400, or USB2. On a Mac with FW800, my 500GB version is getting nearly 60MB writes and 73MB reads so it really benefits from FW800. Nice to have such a big, fast, bus-powered solution for the road.
It has a cooling fan but it's very quiet.
