  1. Well I finally got the last of it today. I just arrived back in Hawaii and my Ike Housing for my 20D came about 20 minutes after I got home. Now I just have a few questions. So first off, im shooting a Canon 20D and im using the Sigma 10-20mm. I can't figure out how or even if the zoom clamp fits onto this lens. The housing came with two zoom clamps one for smaller and one for larger diameter lenses, but niether seem to fit. Can anyone help me with that?

Second, I have the 8 inch dome port and the port body to fit the Sigma lens. When I attach the port to the housing, the instructions only tell me to pull back the two locks, put the port in place and push the locks over the port. It doesnt say anything about tightening the screws, and if i dont do that, the port will wiggle around and almost lift right off, so im assuming i need to tighten them, however, even when i tighten them, the port still is able to rotate at the point where the port is attacted to the housing. Is it suppose to do this?

Id appreciate the help. I will most likely be coming across some more questions in the near future.

  2. Dan,

Checking the Ikelite website it says the Sigma 10-20mm can not be zoomed.

With the 8" dome you have to tighten the clip screws, but do not over tighten as this may crack the housing. These clips sit in place, and do not get locked over the 8" dome. You place the 8" dome on the housing and rotate until it stops, semi-locking it in place (not the best system, but it works).

I have placed a sticker on the back of my 8" dome with an arrow, showing the way it locks, then I can quickly check that it hasn't moved before I get in the water. Once in the water the port will be locked by the water pressure.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

  3. Thanks for the reply. Im still not sure if its set up correctly though. It still spins after i tighten down the screws. I dont want to tighten them anymore and crack it either. I dont see how it would stop spinning like you said yours does. Im going to take it under probably this saturday without the camera and test it out.
