A Few Photos from Bali

Had a nice relaxing week in Bali. Did only 2 dives at Crystal Bay and 3 days in Tulamben.

Had 1 short mola mola encounter... Was able to take just a few shots before the posse of 20+ divers proceeded to surround the poor fellow and scare it off...

Good to see the jacks were out consistently every morning at the Liberty Wreck

ran into this train of yellow striped fusiliers(?) in the shallows.

surprised to come across this lil' fella doing his best to hide in the sand

err... my gf needs to work on her buoyancy and stop touching coral with her hands. Well she did learn a good lesson about that. At the end of one dive, she rubbed her eyes with her gloved hands... She ended up with an interesting rash around her eyes for the remainder of the trip, probably from some coral she touched... that'll teach her

uncooperative coral crab... or just fed up with the u/w paparazzi around Tulamben

nice photos Pakman, thanks for sharing, and bringing back memories of my 2 bali dive trips...

although if I was in bali for a week and only did 5 dives, I'd be anything but relaxed! lol

I wonder what the little cephalopod is, maybe some type of stubby squid? nice find!

Hehehe, we did plenty of dives in Tulamben...

I think that little blue/ green fellow is a bobtail squid (Euprymna berryi)?

sorry, 3 days in tulamben, I misread it as 3 *dives* in tulamben.. yeah, diving in tulamben is pretty relaxing!
