Alternative viewfinder for Ikelite DSLR housing

5 posts
  1. Has anyone found an alternative viewfinder that can be adapted to an Ikelite DSLR housing (specifically for 400d) to improve the view? Any other suggestions would also be welcomed. I am using the same low-profile scubapro frameless I've had for years to get my eye as close as possible. Maybe there's an even better mask for this out there? Thanks very much.

  4. Check Backscatter's website - they put the viewfinder into the housing so that the eyepoint is in the specified location, as opposed to just clamping it on to the outside. I think this makes a difference to the quality of the view but haven't tried each myself.

    Cheers
