Hopefully this will be shown at DEMA and reported on in more detail here. The tripod sounds interesting - the subject of a long-term thread here too.
How long a cable can be used with the remote system? Add some propellers (and more cables) and make an ROV out of your Seacam housing!!! ![]()
Interesting indeed! For anyone who was at Antibes, does the Seacam remote viewer use a small webcam that looks into the viewfinder, or does it use the "live-view" feature of the new cameras?
Cheers
James
I'll have a full report of the Seacam booth from DEMA, probably tomorrow sometime.
Now how ya gonna fit THAT thing under a mask!? ![]()
If it could be made like a flip down shade over top of a mask now that would be something.
I look forward to hearing more.

Now how ya gonna fit THAT thing under a mask!?
I suspect the intent is to use this topside. ![]()
Thanks Eric!
Now how ya gonna fit THAT thing under a mask!?
I was being facetious, hence the smiley!
Great info, Eric!
However, I should know by now not to read any thread that has to do with Seacam and new products - once again, this is gonna cost me... ![]()

I saw Steve Jones today - who is in photo at the top and he was very impressed with the system and also the new Seacam strobes.
Bruce, think how much fun you could have with these on a Shearwater trip!
Best regards,
Alex
