  1. Hi,

Anyone has experience with diving in Panama (Pacific side and channel)? I've heard some good stories on Coiba, so I might go down in February and check it out.

I was certified there when I was 17 in 1987. :guiness: In Gatun lake..

Can't remember much...but no one ever asks about Panama.

So, perhaps Luiz will reply soon about his time there.

  3. There is some nice diving in a group of islands about one hour boat ride (or a quick plane ride) from Panama City. The place is Islas Perlas (Pearl Islands, where they filmed one of the survivors, I think), the photo on my avatar was taken there and I won the Scuba Diving photo contest with it :P so there are opportunities for good photos.

Here is my gallery with photos taken at Islas Perlas:

It's a macro heaven. I've never been to Coiba, but I heard good things about it too.
