Mr John Ellerbrock of Gates Housings kindly made available the new FX7/V1 housing with the new EM43 4.3" external LCD monitor. Unfortunately, due to the rush to the housing to me, I did not receive the new SWP44B Fathom lens for the field test. Hopefully in the future, I'll get it tested.
Since I only received the standard flat port, I was limited to testing the housing's handling and balance, ergonomics and overall useability. It also allowed me to test the older Century Optics +4 diopter since the flat port didn't allow me to put in the +3.5 Raynox DC5320 diopter. It could only fit the +2 diopter.
There will also be resolution tests on the red filter supplied and also Magic Filters from our own Dr Mustard.
Stay tuned as it should be out in the very near future (Once I finally can leave. Yes John I'm still stuck in paradise!)
