I am planning a trip to the cenote's in jan. Will be shooting video. Can anyone offer advice on color correction in the fresh water? Is the green water filter proper for these clear and semi shallow dives down to 40'-50'?

I would expect that inside caves you would want to use lights and no filter?
If you do want to filter - then treat the water as clear blue water.

Thanks for the info. I will not actually be in a cave enviroment, but will be back away from the entrance some what. I will most likely be shooting towards the opening a majority of the time. With this natural light in fresh water should I still treat it as blue water?
Thanks

I probably going cenote diving in June. I have a G9 with two relatively low-powered strobes and was thinking I'd leave them behind.
Alex ... if you are listening ... are you saying one should use the regular magic filters in a cenote?
Thanks!

For the water type, then yes a normal Magic filter is correct. But many of the best cave images are made by the strong blue colour cast of the water - so rather than filtering it away I would celebrate the moody, monochrome world.
