Well we really lucked out with the weather this weekend on truth aquatics trip to channel islands ca. Instead of a storm we had sun. I was playing with dof on this, and it came out better then I thought. Kind of surreal. Exif 200 at f4.8 60mm. All adjustments done in raw.
Mr B., I'm happy you had good weather over the weekend. I kept thinking that you were out there snapping away when I could see, and very nearly reach out and touch, the islands. Weather cooperated!
Nice little photo there! Just when you think you have the perfect DOF, there comes that dreded surge to ruin most of the others ;-)

The vis was good better at anacapa. Now the surge, drats. Macro was an exersize in frustration. Luck was a major factor, trying to time it. Here is the vis at santa cruz with a 10.5
